The Hope ESL Software is based on a film called "The Hope". The complete film is included, broken into 14 chapters.

The philosophy at the foundation of this curriculum is the communicative and developmental approach to language acquisition. The design is all about story and becoming more comfortable with English as a language for actually communicating.

This DVD ROM takes a primarily aural (listening/speaking) approach to learning English using beautiful images, audio, video, and flash driven content, based on The HOPE film, representing a dramatic presentation of God's redemptive story from creation through to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.?

This tool is appropriate for beginners, intermediate/advanced students working on their own, in pairs, in small groups, and large groups. English teachers might also use this resource as part of their instruction in the class room.

Included on the DVD ROM is Mandarin audio and written instruction for the Introduction, Tour, Help, Wordlists and Knowing God links and some Indonesian audio and written instruction.
